Project [Redacted] is an attempt to forward military efforts in [Redacted]. Headed by Dr. [Redacted] the projects main goal was to [Redacted]. The project was deemed a failure when certain cells where found to not respond to [Redacted]. Project [Redacted] was put into the attention of the military and is now funded to forward the current war effort in [Redacted]. Project [Redacted] is under scrutiny after an incident occured. In the town of [Redacted] it seems that [Redacted] and the town was put under quarantine. The incindent has left certain doubts about the project but it has continued to be funded.

Prior History: Served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. Retired with a rank of Specialist (SP5). Suffered a shrapnel wound to his right knee during time in the service.

First Official log of the incident hearafter referred to as Theta 12
Time of day: 0900 hours, approximately three hours before the incident.

Time of day: 1030 hours, approximately 1.5 hours before the incident.

Bill decided to walk to the hospital. He'd gotten too used to the physical demands of the army to start sitting around now. He wore his usual outfit, including combat boots. A strange thing to wear on a regular basis, but he usually responded with, 'I'm used to it,' and 'It still looks fine.' He took in his surroundings, and noticed a building that looked too bland to be a civilian structure. He couldn't help but smirk. "Leave it to the military to build boring buildings," he said to himself with a short laugh.

Bill quickly walked the rest of the way to the hospital, and snuffed out his cigarette before he walked in, taking one last draw from it. He entered the hospital and found a place to sit down. Soon after, about 15 minutes after leaving Sarah, he heard, "Mr. Overbeck!" Bill stood and approached the doctor who called his name. He followed after being beckoned to do so. He took a seat when he entered the operating room, beret in hand.

The doctor looked up as he wrote on his clipboard. "I see you're a heavy smoker, sir," he said. Bill shrugged. "It was big during the war," he said. The doctor nodded. "Right, right. You know that's not healthy for you?" He asked casually. Bill nodded, a slight frown tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Yes, I'm aware."

There was a brief silence as the doctor continued to write. Then, "Have any family, sir?" Bill shook his head. "Used to," he said briskly. "What happened--" Bill cut the doctor off, saying, "If you want to practice your conversation skills, go do it somewhere else," he said sternly. It wasn't the doctor himself, just the topic that wasn't pleasant.

The operator walked into the room about 10 minutes after being called in. "Mr. Overbeck, it's nice to meet you. I'll be working on your knee today." He paused a moment as he prepared a pair of gloves. "I appreciate what you've done, sir. I'll be sure to do the best I can." Bill nodded. "I'll just be glad to have my knee back to normal," he said as he lay down.

"Alright, we'll just apply the anesthetic now so we can get this done as soon as possible," he said as his team entered. Bill nodded and took the anesthetic, and lay down, waiting for it to take effect.

Also found was a recording from one of the security cameras in the hospital, it detailed multiple individuals who broke through the door and proceeded to kill anyone behind them.
