Bill snorted. "If they are on some kind of drug, I guess we're more or less dead at this point." He took another look around. "Just keep your cool. The second you let fear take over, is the second you're dead. Use your fear, don't let it use you," he advised.

Sarah looked up at him, completely in shock that he knew almost exactly what was going on in her head. She swallowed, though her mouth was dry at this point, and nodded. "Right, I'll keep that in mind." She said, holding her pistol tightly as she looked around. There wasn't much noise up ahead, not that she could tell anyway.

As the two of them move down the alley they can hear noises from one of the side alleys, as they move closer more shambling people come out of the alley, behind you some of the people from before have followed you down the alley, a total of 22 from both ends stand in your way.

Bill shifted his eyes towards the new arrivals from the side alley and rose his rifle. "Identify yourselves!" He commanded, finger hovering just over the trigger. He thumbed the safety to make sure it was off.

Twirling herself around, Sarah faced the other group of people that Bill simply couldn't. Her index finger was twitching to pull the trigger, but both veterans knew the rules of engagement. Still though, she had a feeling that these people just weren't... right.

There is no reply from the people in the alley, and they continue to move toward the two armed people.

"Damn," Bill muttered. "We're boxed in," he said to Sarah. "We've got to pick a way out of here and make a path," he growled. The street's too open. So it'd be safest to keep going down the alley. Maybe we oughta just take them all out so we have some time to think things through.

... But then again, we oughta keep moving too, if this keeps up.

Damnit.
