Darvis simply stepped back as Yosa'Min pushed, slightly shaking his head. After a moment of clearing his mind, he stepped out into the tavern, adjusting the way his glove fit on his hand. "Well then," he said simply as he shifted his gaze between Lydia and Gavyn. "You two come to a decision yet?"

"Well, I will stay here on order by Sanaria." Lydia said, she stood up, and took a look at Gavyn, "You can go if you want to." She said, trying to put him on ease.

Gavyn glanced at Lydia and shook his head. "I'll be staying here as well. They're going to need some sort of help when we head up to join you guys, right?" He said with a smile.

Darvis shrugged, making a mental note of how he glanced at her for a moment before speaking. "Alright. We're heading out soon then. Don't get yourselves in trouble," he said sternly in a paternal tone.

"Can you keep an eye on Mjoll for me. You haven't known her for long but she'll listen to you two if you keep her from doing something stupid... Hopefully." Yosa'Min added, stifling a laugh at the way Lydia responded to Darvis's instructions.

Gavyn snickered with a small grin. "Archmagister, we can handle ourselves, you know."

Darvis rolled his eyes. "I'm just trying to make sure you don't get yourselves into trouble. I won't be around to bail you out," he said with a small frown at their reactions.

"Don't worry, I have strict orders form the Thane of Whiterun herself to keep an eye on the injured Nord." She said, a fake air of professionalism in her voice.

Darvis rolled his eyes. "Or, you could just drop the fake professionalism and say it straight," he said. "I can spot when people are acting easily. So don't bother," he said. "But, alright. I'll take that as, 'don't worry, I'll behave myself,'" he said with a shrug.

"I appreciate it nonetheless." Yosa'Min said, "Ordered or not, I am relieved to hear such words." The Redguard said, and looked longingly at the door Mjoll had not emerged from in such a long while. Before her feet would take her there and ruin everything, Yosa'Min smiled at the others and departed to stand outside the inn.

Sanaria exited her room, all she would need she had with her, she looked at Lydia and Gavyn, noting their presence together. "I hope you all have a safe journey when the time comes, may your sword always be sharpened, and the road ahead filled with glory." She said.
"Yes, and you too, goodbye for now Sanaria."

Darvis glanced at Sanaria and nodded. "Don't let them get themselves killed, Gavyn," he said as he turned and made his way to the door.

"I should be telling him that," Gavyn said with a small chuckle.

"We all set to go?" Yosa'Min asked them, her bow slung over her back with an itch to be used. "We best make quick time if we'll avoid another incident such as Whiterun." She said.

"Yes, I believe we should set out, if it was the cult that destroyed Whiterun, I'm sure they would head for Solitude next." Sanaria said, it seemed fair that they would attempt to take out the place with the heaviest concentration of the imperial army.

Darvis nodded. "The sooner the better," he said. "Hopefully, we can get to Solitude before they do."

Yosa'Min looked at them, examining them for a few moments and then nodded. "Then let us be off!" She said enthusiastically and took off down the road leaving a whirl of snow behind her for a few moments before she stopped, waiting for them with a playful grin. I hope Mjoll can forgive me...

Darvis nodded and muttered something about the cold as he walked after Yosa'Min. "You know what way you're going, right?" He asked, looking up into the snow for just a moment. Damn, I'd prefer the ash to this.
