Will walked down the road at his usual above-average pace, repeatedly flicking a coin into the air and catching it with his left hand, bag slung over his right shoulder. He whistled to himself as he walked, lost in his own world of thought.

Colsa was about half way down the street when she started to get bored. Skipping school entirely sounded pretty nice, and the girl was one step away from just turning back around when she spotted the familiar figure of Will. So with a smirk, she picked up the pace and coasted along down the street on the board.

Will cast a casual glance over his shoulder after catching his latest flip, and spotted someone on a skateboard riding towards him. "Eh? Oh, hey there, I didn't know you came this way!" he called out, waving to Colsa.

"Hey!" Colsa smiled towards him as she drew closer, expertly maneuvering the board towards Will, she tipped the board and stopped. "Well, I just moved up the road over the summer so yeah, I come by here now." She said.

Will continued flipping his coin, returning the smile. "Well, now isn't that convenient?" He said with a wink and a laugh. "How are you liking the new place?"

"If it weren't my step-father's, it would be fantastic," she drawled, shaking her head and slowly coasting along besides him. "At least I have my own room till I move out."

"Oh..." Will trailed off. "I'm sorry you're stuck in that situation. But, you'll be moving out soon, right?" He held his arm out to her; it would be easier for him to just pull her along instead of having her try to pace him.

She accepted it without looking at him, eyes straight ahead, "Well true, the glory of seniorhood." Colsa smirked, "One more fucking year."

Will fell silent, and simply took his free hand to pat her on the shoulder. "I'm sorry," he said simply.

Daniel arrived at the school, "It is too early in the morning for Algebra." He said, walking toward the grey building, funny how schools and prisons looked similar.
"Oh it wasn't that bad."
"For you maybe."

The two soon arrived at the school building, and he gently slipped his arm away. "Well," Will began, casting a short, sad glance towards Colsa. "See you around, I guess," he stated quietly before entering the building.

Daniel headed toward his Algebra 2 class, "And I am prepared for nothing at all to happen today." He sighed as he stepped through the door.
Sarah headed toward her class as well, keeping quiet along the way, clutching a textbook to her chest.
(Just get them to their first class, I will time jump to lunch then.)

Will sighed as he walked, flipping the same coin as he made his way through the halls. What a terrible morning, he mused to himself as he made his way to English.

Waving her hand goodbye, she hopped off the skateboard and picked it up. Clutching it to her side, she walked into the school building. By the time she'd gotten to her locker that was across the campus and put the board up for safe keeping, the first bell had rang, and she just shrugged as she slowly made her way towards her first period English.

Daniel walked down the halls, doing his best to avoid hitting anyone, he ended up at the cafeteria and looked around.

Will made his way to lunch and quickly gathered his food, finding a table to sit alone at. He reached into his bag on the floor next to him and withdrew a notebook and a pencil, beginning to sketch as he ate.

Giving a snotty cheerleader a glare, Colsa ducked into the lunch line, waiting with annoyance to get the gruel the school gave them and dared to call food. By the time she'd gotten through the horrendously long line, lunch might as well have been over for her. Finding her way to a table in the far side of the cafeteria and nearly dropping her tray of mac and cheese and a burger on the white topped surface, slumping into her chair and brutally munching down.

Daniel looked up as someone slumped down at the table, apparently not noticing that he and Sarah where there, he was about to get up and leave when he noticed who it was. "Oh Hello." He said, his voice just loud enough to be heard over the dull roar that resounded throughout the room.

Snapping her green gaze up with alarm, she dropped her fork right into the yellow mush on her tray and wiped her mouth clean with a napkin. "Oh, hey!" She attempted to sound friendly, and hide that she'd just been attacking her food with a fury. "I didn't know we had the same lunch, kinda cool."

"Don't even know if we have lunch together," she shrugged, pushing a bit of her food around with her fork before she ate it. "Luck would certainly be on our side if it were."

"I guess it would." She said, ducking her head down a bit she pulled a book from her bag, "The Divine Comedy" was emblazoned on the side and she opened it to a page around the middle.
Daniel looked around, "I don't see him, how has your day been?" He asked, trying to make small talk.

"Meh," she simply said, shrugging and finishing her burger next. "English isn't very fun, not with the old crone that teaches it." She snorted a bit, "You two?" Green eyes shone.
