Two DragonBorns live in the world of Skyrim, never having met face to face, with the final battle against Alduin drawing nearer will they meet for the first time, and what will happen from then on.

Damned doors, I thought, as they slowly opened before me. There was an unnatural warmth in my left hand. Then I remembered, I had a Fireball ready to throw, as was my custom for such... Annoying doors. I proceeded quickly. Ruins aren't any better. What I'd give for this to be a Dwemer place. At least then I don't have to deal with the risen dead. ... Who knows what ancestors are being defiled here.

... Bastards. I spotted another one of those mask-wearing freaks, wielding a staff. And... A portal! That's my goal. That Dragon Priest must be there to shut the portal. Too bad I won't give him that chance.

"Fus Ro Dah!" The Thu'um erupted from my mouth with such force that the undead -thing- was slammed into the ground. I began my run towards the portal. "Tiid Klo Ul!" I felt the flow of time around me slow to a crawl; the Dragon Priest was powerless to move as I slipped quickly into the portal. There was no doubt that it would close behind me once the undead freak figured out what was going on. But, I got through. That's all that matters.

It's not like anyone's going to come in after me.

The ruins led me to a pair of enormous doors, the strange thing was that they were open. "Who used these doors before me, what wonders were here." I quietly say to myself. I stepped onto the shelf of rock and walked over to where the portal by all rights should be, except in front of the thing was a dragon priest, holding a staff, which was probably very much used to open the portal. Calling Balther to my side I drew Dovah Dinok from it's scabbard and charged straight at it, but was cut off when a stream of frost magic fell between me and the priest. "DAMMIT NOT NOW!!!!" I shouted. Above me was a flying frost dragon, the overgrown lizard had probably made this place it's roost. I felt a warmth grip my hand as I summoned a fireball to fling at the Dragon Priest. I didn't have time to mess with a dragon, my goal right now was to get that staff. As fire and ice flew across the shelf I knew that it wouldn't be enough. "Time to test out this new skill." Summoning the energy I bellowed the word, "STRUN!!" A violent storm struck the shelf, it took me a minute to fully contemplate the effects of my action, wind blew me onto the floor, the priest was struck by a powerful bolt of lighting, jarring the staff from it's hands, and the dragon was thrown away by the winds. I rose from the ground, sword in hand and ran for the staff, grabbing it off the ground I proceeded to jam it into the slot to open the portal, and so my trip to Sovngarde began with a little more drama than I'd hoped.

I waved my hand in front of my face, shaking my head with a light sigh. First undead freaks, and now mist. With Alduin of all things doing what he does best.

Being an irritating fool.

I stepped into the famed mead hall of Sovngarde. The place was filled with the spirits of past champions, enjoying the company of each other. I couldn't help but glance away. That old pain was welling up again. I steeled myself, proceeding further into the hall. Who knew those Nords were actually right about something? I spotted three important-looking figures. If someone was going to help me figure out how to beat Alduin, it'd be them. So I made my way over to those three, starting to find the atmosphere in the hall rather infectious.

Right... That undead freak must have closed the portal by now. That means that nothing can follow me in... Well, at least I won't have to deal with another dragon breathing ice at me or something.

Damned ice-breathing dragons.

A sight I would have never seen, a Dark Elf walking into the Hall of Valor, I knew immediately that he was the Dragonborn.
"Hail brave man, you must be the Dragonborn, but where is your companion?"

The Nord's gruff voice reached my ears. I never really liked Nord voices too much. But I guess I'd just have to put up with it. Like I have been for the longest time.

"Dragonborn. Yeah, that's what I am." What number title is that again?
"My companion? You mean Gavyn. He's still in Whiterun. I decided not to risk his death during the journey here."

I crossed my arms, staring at the Nord's eyes with irritation. Maybe a bit of confusion. I couldn't tell.

"What are you talking about, -other- Dragonborn?"

Wonderful day I thought to myself. First I get to trek up a mountain, then I get to fight an undead freak, and finally I get to walk through Alduin's attempt at a hot spring I look toward the Hall of Valor, a lone man stands in front of the bridge.
"Who are you?" The man questions.
"I am the Dragonborn, Sanaria." I reply in an equal tone, no man will tell me how to act, ever again
"I am here to test the skill of all the nords wishing to enter the Hall of Valor, Dragonborn."
"I understand, I hope you don't mind the taste of skyforge steel."
"Let us begin." He says, and then immediately lunges at me, I dodge to the right an proceed to draw my sword, I slice at his chest, this goes on for a few minutes of us exchanging blows.
"ENOUGH!" He loudly exclaims, "You have proven your worth, you may enter into the Hall of Valor."
good, I can get this over with.

I shook my head. I can't believe this. Another Dragonborn. So that means all that talk about the Dragonborn... It hardly makes any sense. I thought this was supposed to be a--

I saw a Nord enter the room. My train of thought more or less crashed in a huge heap. Nothing much out of the ordinary. Just a Nord wearing some heavy armor. Like I haven't seen -that- before. What really stuck out to me though, was that she seemed rather... Out-of-place. Didn't look much like everyone else drinking themselves to Oblivion.

I guess she doesn't seem like -that- bad of a person. Pfah. But still a Nord. I'll just have to see the extent of her prejudice.

"I don't suppose you're this Dragonborn I've been hearing so much about?" I idly juggled a few small balls of flame above my left hand, left ungloved, but with a single ring upon it. My right hand was gloved with that of the Dark Brotherhood. I wore traditional Telvanni robes underneath black leather armor, which itself bore a few pouches on it. My flute was resting safely in its case on my left hip. Just above it was sheathed the Blade of Woe. A gift.

I just then noticed her sword. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just... A sword. But it looked bloodied. A fight, recently? "Where?" I voiced that one word, without any context or anything. In retrospect, that was a stupid idea.

Oh well.

I walked into the Hall of Valor, a place that I dreamed of being one day, no strife or worry or horrible things that happen. I looked around the room, many Nords sat and drank, but there was one I knew would not be there, he was killed by a Frost Dragon a day after our promise. suddenly I hear a voice, rough and course. "I don't suppose your this Dragonborn I've been hearing so much about?"
Great a Dark Elf, I know they aren't bad, but then you try spending half of your life locked in chains by one.
just then he spouts out another trivial phrase, "Where?"
"What do you mean by where? And how did you get in here, don't tell me you took...the...portal." and suddenly I understood more than I ever wanted.

I felt my mouth open. Words tried to form.

They didn't.

After a few seconds, I realized how stupid I must have looked, standing there with my mouth open, staring at this Nord who...

Wait. The portal. That Dragon Priest. I just sort of... Left him. And if I were him, I would be...

... Oh Divines, no.

"Look, look. I can explain." I'd just rather be able to explain with my head still attached to the rest of my body.

I felt my shoulders drop slightly, a small breath escaped my lips. Was I really just holding my breath over this?

Wait. Why was I even so afraid in the first place?

"The portal. I-- You know what, nevermind. Just, don't worry about it."

I didn't really understand this man, but to be a Dark Elf and get into the Hall of Valor then he must have taken the portal, but only I knew about the portal. "Tell me who you are this instance." I said, trying to seem unafraid, the man can probably do more than juggle fire.

I rolled my eyes. I had to at least try to appear to be unafraid.

Wait, what am I talking about? I'm not afraid of her. Just another Nord in heavy armor, that's all. I put up with them on a daily basis.

Right. I should probably answer her now. I've been silent for too long.

"Telvanni Archmage Darvis." I continued to nonchalantly juggle fire in my left hand.

I hoped she wouldn't try anything.

"But that doesn't answer the fact that you are here, only the Dragonborn could know how to find this place, and only the Dragonborn could have gotten here." I said.
"Let me save us all some time and explain, Darvis, this is Sanaria, she is the Dragonborn, Sanaria this is Darvis, he is also the Dragonborn."
"But I don't understand this." I reply back.
"Do not worry, we have much to do, as I understand it you are here to fight Alduin."

Finally.

I looked at the Nord, now that I was finally acquainted with Sanaria. "We are. I suppose you have some grand plan?"

I lapsed into silence, waiting for his answer. He'd probably know how to fight an ancient dragon better than I do.

"Ah yes, So, first we will teach you to clear the skies of Alduin's foul mist, and then he shall descend from the skies, the dragonrend shout shall bring him to mortality, and then we tear the dragon apart!"
As he says this the Hall erupts into a cheer.

I stood and stared at the Nord.

That's it. Really? And they're -cheering- about this foolishness? Pfah, Gavyn could come up with a better idea!

"So you're telling me, we just yell at it a few times, stick it in the side with some sharp objects a bit, and that's it? It's -really- going to be that simple? For -Alduin-?"

Obviously, I wasn't quite buying it. I've got more sense than drunken Nords.

It must be the mead.

"Great, then that means that there's more to this plan of yours than just yelling at it, and then poking it in the side a few times, right?"

I still wasn't very convinced of this guy's plan.

I felt a grin come to my face as I turned my head to face Sanaria and nodded. "It's about time someone decided to get moving. I'm beginning to wonder if just us two alone will be able to accomplish more than this entire hall filled with champions." I shot a glare over my shoulder into the hall; I'm sure my disapproval shot out like beams towards them.

I hope I won't regret that comment.

And so we ended up standing there, in the field next to the Misty plains, and we shouted them away, Alduin Descended from the sky, and thats when everything went wrong, suddenly the champions fall away, and we are left to fight Alduin alone.
